Family Health America... Exceeding Your Expectations!

The Family Health America (FHA) program is offered in 48 states and includes the following services:

 

• Network Access. FHA has a national chiropractic network called "EmpowerChiro" with nearly 3,000 providers. Discounts are available through a fee schedule or percentage of charges.
   

• Chiropractic Capitation. Under this program, FHA assumes the complete financial risk for chiropractic treatment and all administrative expenses.
   

• Utilization Management. FHA performs utilization management of chiropractic services using licensed chiropractic reviewers. During the review process, FHA may review selected cases or all chiropractic treatment delivered in a given health plan.
   

• Quality Assurance. As part of its Quality Assurance Program, FHA surveys patients who receive chiropractic treatment under its capitation plans on a quarterly basis. In addition, all network chiropractors are also surveyed on a yearly basis.
